Just a few ideas... This is what I would try at least once.
Appetizers:
Pot Stickers - a dumpling that's nicely browned on one side served with a soy based dipping sauce.
Deep fried Shrimp - I like shrimp.
Garlic Chicken Wings - chicken wings with a nice garlic flavor.
Entrees
Sesame Beef - deep fried thinly sliced beef (slightly crunchy) coated in sesame seeds coated with a slightly sweet, savory sauce.
Mongolian Beef - thinly sliced beef stir fried with green onions and garlic served over puffed rice noodles... I usually order it spicy hot.
Anything pork in black bean sauce - I just like the flavor of the garlic and the fermented black beans. Typically, it's pork spare ribs in black bean sauce. I'll even eat tofu in black bean sauce.... oh the horror.
Noodles:
Beef Chow Fun - a soft rice noodle stir fried with beef and tender greens. The noodles is soft, but the edges get a little crispy from the wok and the wok also imparts a slighty smokey (in a good way) flavor to the noodles.
Veggies:
Some veggies to counteract all of the deep fried foods... lol.
Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce - Sauteed Chinese broccoli drizzled with an oyster sauce mixture.
Stir Fried Tender Greens - A mixture of bok choi, nappa cabbage and other vegetables cooked with garlic, little ginger and sometimes with a white wine sauce.
Asparagas in Black Bean Sauce

Moo Shu pork: this is a cacophany of food mixed up in a dish. You spoon it into these thin thin pancakes and eat it in manner of a soft taco or enchilada. Well, not just pork. It comes with any meat you want but I prefer pork.
Egg Foo Young: haven't had this in a while but as I recall it's kinda like an elaborate fried omelette.
Dumplings!: (also known as potstickers) Gooey dough pouches with meat some kind of veggie inside.
Savory cream cheese wantons. They are savory because the cream cheese has bits of onion mixed in- but the red sauce it comes with is sweet. So Good!
Well, these are my favourites. Hope you like them as well!

Sesame chicken with deep fried wontons. This is one of my favorite Chinese meals. Nice to buy out but not so easy to make at home. A cup of green tea also sets this whole meal apart from the norm. Enjoy.

Peking Crispy Duck with pancakes and Hoi Sin sauce is yummy! Or you could get Sweet and Sour King Prawns - truly heaven on a plate!

You can never go wrong with General Tso's Chicken, pandfried or steamed dumplings. And chicken fried rice. And a spring roll.
