My boyfriend doesn't like pasta, and I love ittalian food. We're trying to find a middle ground that doesn't involve him odering out or me cooking two dishes.

I want to try Thai food for the first time, and I'm not really sure what to order first. I love spicy foods and other asian foods. I've had curry chicken before. I really liked it. But, I want to try something a bit more daring. Any suggestions? And how can you tell a good Thai restaurant from a sketchy one? Thanks!

Has anybody intentionally tried or eaten or "feasted" on bugs and what types have you eaten or tried..and what did they taste like and would you ever eat them again?
and why or why not?
Oh,and what is the best way to prepare them or what do you eat them with, or do you only eat them plain? (like any sauces or with meat, or rice or soups, or porridges etc?)
thank you!

Where can I buy a big Tub of green tea ice cream? I used to get some from Whole Foods but they add WAY too much sugar and it doesn't taste the same like in Japanese restaurants. And it's $3.50 for a scoop, so I was hoping I can just get a whole tub of it from somewhere?? Does anyone know??

I wouldn't 'cause I'm a vegan, but am morbidly curious, lol. Nothing against chitterlings or those who eat them. I'm Mexican, and before going vegan, I've eaten "gross" stuff like tripas (beef stomach) and lengua (beef tongue), and liked it. Just curious.

Oh, but I couldn't bring myself to eat sesos (brain), lol!

I need to find a shop that sells Scottish foods in the Fremantle or surrounding areas by Thursday 14th June. I am wanting to take 'Black Pudding', 'Hagis' and 'Square Sausage' to the country with me for my father. This is his last wish. I am also looking for marmalade brand 'Rose' but is called thick cut, not thin. Hope someone is able to help me ASAP. I would love to give him is final wish. Thank you to anyone who can help! xx

I am in love with this Japanese cuisine, and I would like to make some. My brother speaks the language, and has been to the country, and he brought back with him some Nori (sea weed), and the vinegar, and some rice. I know we can nail the rice part, but when it comes to the fish, I need to know how to clean it. How do I go about this process? If anyone could tell me how to sterilize fish, that would be fantastic, any and all help is appreciated!

I saw a recipe for something called "Indian Beef Patties with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce" in Better Homes and Gardens.

http://recipes.bhg.com/recipes/recipedetail.jsp?sssdmh=dm17.263656&recipeId=R083951&esrc=nwdr&email=484091488

All I could think was, the spices and cucumber yogurt seem familiar, because I love Indian food. But don't most Indians *not* eat beef? I remember reading that even the McDonald's there use ground mutton instead of beef, because the Hindu majority wouldn't eat it. But I know not all Indians are Hindu. Do the non-Hindus eat beef?

Basically, I'm wondering whether it's me or the Better Homes and Gardens recipe creator being ignorant. :-)
