I have gone to a few authentic Mexican restaurants that serve this AWESOME melted cheese dip with fresh chips while you're waiting for your food...I've asked a few people at the restaurants and tried looking it up on the net, but I can't seem to find an answer..and me and my friend are going insane trying to figure this out because we LOVEE it! lol....
So....If anyone knows what kind of cheese this is...(it's white) and how to make the dip, please let us know! Thanks : )

I thought there were inspectors that look for dirty conditions in restaurants. Wouldn't they check for food being made from things other than chicken?

The Hispanic Culture brought us Tex-Mex and Tex-Mex certainly has rural roots in West Texas/Northern New Mexico. So why not Southern Rural claim "Ethnic Cuisine" status. And please ......have fun if you are insecure......but I would prefer serious thoughtful answers.

Street vendors in India sell puffed rice called muri. How do I make my own muri at home? (The puffed rice itself, not the rice with seasonings.)

I cannot buy mole sauce in the UK and I want to buy the powdered kind not the wet sauce that comes in a jar. I walked up and down the mission in SF looking for a good Mexican deli but they were all crap. I bought some before in Toronto and they had a dozen types in the store so I don't know why I'm finding this so hard.

It's similar to a pomegranate I think. You eat the seeds. It is called a grenallia or something like that but how exactly do you spell it?
