Stand the treacle tin on the scales, take a hot spoon and deduct the amount of treacle you need. So say the tin weighs 12oz and you need 2oz just take the treacle out with the spoon until the tin weighs 10oz

If you're going to use the treacle for baking, sprinkle a little flour on the scale pan, then pour in the treacle. It slips out of the pan easily. If you're not going to mix the treacle with flour you could try a little sugar in the pan. Never tried it, but it should work.

Weigh a cup or small basin on the scales when it's empty, then pour the honey, syrup or treacle straight into it, remembering to deduct the original weight of the container

Richard b has it right and if you heat your spoon up over a gas flame or in boiling water,syrup and tracle come off the spoon easier
