1. You are warming up some baked beans in a bowl tightly covered in clingfilm. when you take out the bowl the beans are boiling , making the clingfilm blow up like a balloon.
2. You are warming up some food on a cracked plate. Because the plate is cracked, water has seeped in under the glaze, so there is mmoisture inside the plate.
3. You are heating water to make tea in a new, clean mug.Although water in the mug gets above 100 degrees celcius, it doesnt boil,because there are no little bumps or scratches in the mug, which steam bubbles need to form.You take out the mug and drop in a tea bag.
4. You are eating soup warmed in microwave oven. it seems to be cool enough to eat, so you swallow a big spoonful.
5. Your microwave oven is old and the door doesnt fit properly, although the oven still cooks well.
