im french so i started when i was 12 and my parents have allowed me.. im 16 now and i go to parties and drink with my friends and stuff but im a responsible drinker. if you want to drink...then go for it. but know when to stop otherwise you could get alcohol poisening. also be warned when your drunk you can a make fool of yourself or get into situtions you will regret later. also when you start drinking you become a risk for becoming an alcoholic..liver failure..etc. plus hangovers in the morning SUCK! i advise you not to go behind your parent back...if you get caught then likely they will lost their trust in you. if you think you could deal with these consequences then go for it. take it easy and have fun! also please dont ever get in a car with someone who been drinking!!

Uhm, ok, trying it like getting a sip from your dad is ok, everyone does it.

But I'm gonna tell you right now not to drink. Your parents will find out. You can get serisouly ill and possibly die if you drink too much, which at such a young age will not take a lot of beer to happen. And I don't think you want to see any of your friends die, so I'd tell them to stop drinking too.

Smoking can cause serious health issues like lung cancer and heart problems.

Don't do stuff just because you think it's cool. This is how more and more young teenagers are dying. Scaring you is not what I want to do, but sometimes that's what it takes to get the message across.

No you are not old enough to start drinking. You still have a few years to grow still. Drinking could stun your growth. Wait until you are 21. If you leave the country and drinking is allowed at your age don't drink. I would say a good age to start drinking in moderation is 18 or 19 if the law allows it. But always follow the law of the land.

You know that 13/14 is a bad age to start drinking, smoking or any of those bad habits that are illegal and unhealthy. When you grow up you will be able to make these decisions. Just because someone else does it does not make it right or okay. You are too immature by even thinking that. Ask again when you are 21.

Bad age. Just because your buddies are doing it does not mean you have to go along. What is the big deal about wanting to drink alcohol? In 6-7 years you can buy the stuff legally, and drink it too.

Doing "grown up things" does not make one 'grown up'. Your argument that everyone is doing it so why shouldn't you just shows how immature you are. Immaturity is not an insult just a fact. Why not think for yourself and not just follow the crowd.

Your body is still developing it is not a healthy choice to begin damaging it at this young age. Your chance of developing an addiction, or just doing something careless will go way up.

Probably not a good idea if you have to hide it from your parents. I learned some responsible drinking habits around 16-18, you should probably wait until the end of high school, alcohol can wreck your life.

Alcoholic intoxication is neurological poisoning which does not improve your state of mind and thinking and behavior but worsens it because it is an addictive depressant in its effect upon the brain. The ugly manners of drunkenness shows the measure of brain damage being done to the poisoned neurotransmitters. Get free of its social pressure to conform to its stupidity caused by the a. industry and remain free of it which is higher not lower than its experience.

Nicotine causes a powerful rush in the beginning only. But it only takes a couple days of smoking to begin the addiction causing irresistable desires or need for another to ease the withdrawal symptoms of the previous one. They make billions of dollars getting youth to begin smoking for years and years unable to get free because they like it too much. Alcohol does that too differently. Nicotine dealers are causing genocide killing 500,000 persons annually in America. 1,300 daily. Camels killed my dad at 53 and his sister.
You can choose to live higher than conformity.

I started at that age, and it was a very bad thing for me to do. It caused major problems for me and it took years to get over. Don't do it. It has nothing to do with being a baby. It has to do with the harmful affects of alcohol, which are much MORE harmful when you are young. If you want a future, and a good one, don't do it. Be strong and be mature for your age. If your immature friends want to blow it, so be it. Just don't you blow it.
