My kids (3 and 2) are going a relatives house (they have a farm) and this relative believes there is nothing wrong with letting the kids watch the cows become dinner. I've never seen it in person before but where my husband came from, he as a child would kill a chicken for lunch.

I guess I feel like it will hurt them or severely traumatize them in some way to see this happen to an animal. I really need ya'lls opinion. Please.

It's a 1999 Pinot Noir, its not tainted, but for some reason they had these GLASS wine bottles there and I bought one

I'm going to try it out first, but what feelings would you have to getting a bottle of wine that tasted good, it was 8 years old, but it did come from the dollar store for the holidays

Hi again i bought a peice of meat and i know it is beef and it looks like a steak. But other than that i dont know how to cook it because i dont know what it is. I would like to make it in the oven. What should i do? Could i put it in an oven bag with seasonings?

3 local coffe shops have closed since are town got 2 starbucks. .

I dont support starbuks and I love good coffe.

I want to know what kind of "cherry flavoring" I can add with (obviously) chocolate flavoring. It lists Artificial Flavors on the ingredients but nothing specifically cherry.

$1.99 for one quart is steep, and this was in the cooler with Egg Nog, Pumpkin Spice Nog, Chocolate Mint Milk and other milks/nogs at Target.

Seasonal items don't last. I'd appreciate help from anyone who knows what specific flavor I should buy. Would cherry juice from Marashino cherries be gross mixed with dairy? Haha, I'm obviously lost. Please help. Thanks,

Both produce CO2 in the stomach. Is one acidic and the other alkaline?
I am not talking about how it tastes but just in terms of how it helps indigestion, i.e. in the case of too much stomach acid, how it helps to neutralize the acid. Or in the case of too little acid, how it helps to produce more acid if any.

I don't know what people's views are in this field as I do not know many vegans/vegeterians personally.

Besides being used for food; what about the use of animals as pets, being on exhibit in zoos, being used for sports entertainment such as rodeos, circuses, horse-racing... I know obviously bull fighting is viewed negatively.

What about those uses of animals?

I caused a flood of emails to the Soapbox after my comment that ‘real men don’t use wok burners’ on the BBQ. We even had chef Darren Simpson on the show the following day to prove me wrong. He cooked a delicious mushroom sauce in the BBQ wok burner.

My animal rights group and I have came up with a new way to convert people to veganism. We are planning intervetnions, where we go to people's houses, that we know are commiting immoral infractions against animals and stage an intervention to convert them. Basically, we do not leave till the commit! I think it is great. What do you guys think? Has anyone else tried approach?
