Make your own trail mix to keep in your desk or locker at work.

Dried fruits like cran-raisins, raisins, blueberries, etc., mix in some fancy mixed nuts, sunflower seeds already hulled, M&Ms and your favorite granola. It is healthy. tastes good and in the long run, cheaper than buying it already made and it is also satifies the cravings for both sweet and salty foods at the same time. Keep it in an air tight container or ziplock bags.

I got a box of Special K bars & a bag ofTrader Joe's Spicy SOy & Flaxseed chips. This way I have a snack whether I want salty or sweet.

Buy some Snickers bars, then take them home and dip them in batter. Deep fry them in your fat fryer, wrap them up and take them to work.

This will provide you with a balanced mixture of protein (from the nuts), carbohydrate (from the chocolate and toffee fudge), and fats (from the deep fried batter).
