Since you don't know what it is, try the bag and cook at a low temp (250-275) so in case it is a tough cut, it will become tender. You can always throw in carrots, onions and potatoes with it and make a complete meal.

I can't really say if I don't know what cut it is. I hope it's not expensive!
If not, cut it up into little pieces and stir fry it with bell peppers and onions or you can make a stew. Or you can just pan fry the slabs of meat in butter and then stick it in the oven at 350 to cook through. Make sure it's pink inside! Yum!!!

Nope, better just regularly prepare it in the pan, this way you have more control to check whether it is already done or not. In the oven, you lose track of time and state of the meat, it might taste like a shoesole if you mistake it for the wrong kind of meat. :)

yes, that would probably be a good way since your'e not sure of the cut
you can go online & find what different cuts of meat look like & how to prepare
also make sure to add some onions & garlic in with the meat
do NOT salt it - that will make it tough - salt at the table only

if you want to put it in the oven you could go Jamie Oliver style and use a foil bag with chopped onions, mushrooms, etc and herbs inside it. Id suggest trying to brown it off in a frying pan 1st though, no need to use oil, should could in the juice it releases

What kind of meat does it say on the package. There should be a label. Before you cook it you need to know what it is......it may be monkey meat for all you know. There is a label where the price is located of the name of the meat, like chuck steak, flank steal,.....have you ever cookedn anything before this?
