Both produce CO2 in the stomach. Is one acidic and the other alkaline?
I am not talking about how it tastes but just in terms of how it helps indigestion, i.e. in the case of too much stomach acid, how it helps to neutralize the acid. Or in the case of too little acid, how it helps to produce more acid if any.

Thanks a lot.

For acid indigestion, baking soda helps neutralize the stomach.

The home remedy I've heard for Club soda was to drink it when you feel queasy. Supposedly, the club soda will help settle the stomach and easier to keep down since it doesn't have a lot of sugar or flavors added. I don't know about it neutralizing acids.
