Ok I think it is this...
-----------------Liquor before Beer never fear.-------------------------
----------------Beer before Liquor never sicker.------------------------

Is this true?

We are having pork chops for dinner tonight and I'm tired of simply frying or baking them. Does anyone have suggestions on how to jazz them up. (I'll try baking or frying with new suggestions)

as a child my mother used to cook them in the oven and also boil them and they were supberb, now no matter what i try they are not the same ,this is year on year, is it because the nuts are not as fresh as when i was young and perhaps they are last years? i seem to get lots that are black inside so they are obviously not good. hope someone has a remedy to this

I would appreciate some advice: I do a lot of cooking, but I rarely entertain. I've invited a friend & his new girlfriend over for dinner this weekend, and since this is the first time they've been to our place, I'd like it to be nice.

I have the whole menu planned out already; some of it I can make ahead of time, but the entree is a delicate fish dish. I'm afraid my tilapia will be ruined if I put it in the oven while I entertain.

Is it better to be cooking when my guests arrive, or to have a break after the first course while I whip up the main course? It just seems rude to me to leave my guests and make my boyfriend (who barely knows them) to do all the entertaining.

Any tips for juggling dinner and guests? How do you coordinate your dinner parties?

Thank you!

make these sugar cookies every Holiday but since she passed away years ago no-one can duplicate her recipe. We have it, she wrote it down, but she must have done something else that isn't on paper. I use to make them with her, she measured by the hand, maybe that's it. Just wondering if any of you have ever experienced the same?

I did a pork joint last night and have enough left for another meal for two. What can I make? I like chinese food and italian and greek. I'm allergic to nuts so no nutty ideas.

Explanation should be given in relation to the course being offered and the type of food served.

Nobody in my family likes cranberry sauce, but another family came into my life this past weekend, so we're having them over for Thanksgiving dinner and thought I should make it. I can't stand that stuff in the can.. the suction noise... ewww!! Anyways, since I've only made it one other time, I don't remember how it's served. I don't need recipes, I use the one on the package, but haven't bought them yet. So could someone tell me how it's served??? Thanks!!! (I know.. dumb Thanksgiving question, but I have nothing else to ask now!!)
