If you are not allergic to soy, it is not harmful at all.

There is a lot of misinformation about it on the internet lately.

My wife is a Registered Dietitian. If there really was such a big problem with soy, the American Dietetic Association would be encouraging all dietitians to warn their patients about soy. They aren't.

Not harmful in any way.
It's just a bean.
Anything you hear or read saying bad stuff about soybeans is just propaganda. This propaganda only exists in the western countries where meat and dairy industries feel threatened. Pathetic, huh? Yup. Why not ask a Chinese or Japanese person the same question, and take a look at their face and how they look at you as if you are some kind of moron.

soybean "milk" from which soybean curds or "tofu" is derived is toxic if not cooked at the right temperatures.. also the preparation of soybean curd means adding plaster of paris to the milk to help solidify it. this is in itself not harmful but just in case yo want to know what's in it..

Unless you are allergic to soy or eat tons of it soy is pretty harmless. I guess that could be said for anything though. To much of a good thing is never good for you.
