They do make fake chicken noodle soup, though I don't know if your local grocery would have it. Think the brand is Fantastic that I've had. It's pretty yummy. If you want soup and can't find that, you could get some vegetable bouillon, add water and make a broth. Add whatever cooked veggies you want and some noodles. Otherwise what the other person said about the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) is true, or any bland food. I add cinnamon to my applesauce, chocolate to my bananas, cinnamon sugar to my toast, or have oatmeal with cinnamon/banana in it to make things more flavorful. Start out with a piece of toast and see how your tummy feels. Then go from there. Hope you feel better!

If you are sick, buy a sack of oranges -- eat lots of oranges. Fruit is the easiest food for a human to digest. Give your digestion a break. Plus, oranges are easy to come across at the store and are full of good nutrients that will help you to recover. Second to that, you can try pure nothing added orange juice (but, it has been cooked [bad for you] and I don't believe that statement about it being "pure" or "nothing added").
If you eat anything else besides oranges, then make sure the oranges are fully digested and you are on an empty stomach. Then I'd reccomend some simple broth soup with veggies.. Miso soup is good. Avoid all processed foods, sugars, ... basically try to eat healthy easy to digest warm foods. Do not eat anything that is cold from the fridge when you are sick.
tylonol, pepto... they do nothing to help. All this kind of crap just reduces symptoms... Symptoms are what your body is doing to try to fix things. Stop your 'symptoms' and you are stopping what your body is naturally trying to do to fix you.

Amy's makes a No Chicken Noodle Soup. I'm not a fan of it--I don't like canned soups--but it might work for you. Annie Chun's makes an udon noodle soup bowl that you just assemble, add water, and stick in the micro for a minute. Fantastic Foods has relatively inexpensive soup cups that you just fill with warm water.
If your parents let you cook, use veggie broth or bullion to make a simple noodle soup.

make some TheraFlu tea. i heard it tastes gross but makes you feel better. sip on gingerale. i don't know if tomato soup is bad for your stomach, but pick a vegetarian soup with some noodles in it to fill your stomach. there are so many soups, like lentil soups, corn chowder (unless you're vegan), etc.
so tell your dad to get you some soup from the store. tylenol won't do anything for your flu... and please get well soon, without worrying about sacrificing your vegetarianism for your health :)

Anytime my stomach feels sick I have plain toast or crackers. The worst thing for a sick stomach is for it to be empty, so fill it up.

Have some toast. Its light so it won't bother your tummy, but it is filling cause it is bread.
