I'm learning to keep my mouth shut to my friends/family about my new lifestyle change. I've got everything from: it's too expensive, being vegan is not healthy, kids should eat whatever they want, to - "you are weird". Wondering if any of you have gone through this and still do?

Because Dairy and seafood are very healthy and nutritious and impossible to replace from plant sources. Of course if the dairy is organic and the fish is wild even better.

a tin of mackeral in tomato sauce or a tin of sardines in sunflower oil

I'm not saying ALL Americans, but cruising this board I see all these questions about Budweiser or Miller or Coors or Busch or some other extremely crappy American macro. Where are the Sierra Nevada lovers? The Black Butte Porter drinkers? The Sam Adams lovers? New Belgium fans? Newcastle drinkers? The people who enjoy the beer that tastes good, has discernible notes in the nose, the people who pour their beer in a glass so they can look at it, admire the color, smell it and admire the ingredients, take that sip and admire the head retention, the grains used in the beer, the different hops that can either make your beer smell fruity, citrusy, or even like a pine forest of the greenest bud on the planet? Where are you people? I know I'm not alone, there are many of us here in my neck of the woods, but I know you people are out there as well. Tell me your favorite beer, what it is you love about that beer. If you start talking about a macro you will just prove your low IQ level.

Hi, I'm a terrible cook, let's get that out there.

I wanna make some deep fried onion rings, but we're out of flour! Are there any substitutes for batter? And how is onion rings + hot oil? I made french fries before just straight deep frying them, can onions work the same way? Thanks so much!

In Brazil, most people eat it with sugar, and either lemon or milk. In my family, we love to put it in salads :)
