I have no clue when it comes to wines .. I'm looking for a good red wine that I can use in a beef stew recipe. This recipe will be cooked in a slow cooker/Crock pot. Thanks!!

I have noticed that starbucks has a store twice on every corner. Is there such a thing as a coffee house anymore if it doesn't have a starbucks sign outside of it? When was the last time you were in a gourmet coffee house that wasn't a starbucks?

which brands/types of non-dairy milk are the best tasting? i've only tried silk and i thought it was HORRIBLE!! what's your favorite? i geuss i should add that i think milk is disgusting... so anything that tastes like milk is not appealing to me

MY smokes where am at just now are about 65p the pack o 20, how the F*^k can the UK justify adding so much onto a packet o fags, most places i work are cheap as hell even around Europe it's cheaper than the UK, how the hell would the UK economy survive if smoking was banned altogether, the gov. would get f*^k all what then charge tap water at £3 a pint that'll be next.

And no, you couldn't remove the fruit-flies from the drink, though you wouldn't have to finish the whole thing or actually drink the fruit-flies, assuming you could do so without touching them in any way.

I made spegetti for dinner tonight and every single time i make it, i end up with a huge gigantic pot of it....when i'm putting the speggetti in the boiling water it doesn't look like enough so i put more in and i end up with tons of it,,,does anyone else do this?....

Lets say you had about 8 to 10 couples coming over your house for a summer BBQ and drink feast.

All the guys including yourself drink beer at a moderate pace. The girls drink wine and "girly drinks."

My questions are how much beer would you buy and what kinds would you buy? Remembering that not everyone likes micro's but some may want to see something other then Bud, Miller and Coors.

Well, here's the thing. It's going to be about 6 or 7 girls. I know the basic stuff that I need. Like food, drinks, and movies. What I'm looking for is what would be fun besides that stuff? i recently asked a question if eggs were meat, and i found that although they are in the meat/protein group, technically they are not meat, so a vegetarian could eat them...and someone also posted a site showing how chickens are crammed in such tiny cages...well, that made me decide to not purchase eggs, unless from a farm where i know the chickens are properly taken care of...now, obviously cows are treated badly when used for meat, duh...but what about cows used for milk/dairy???? are they crammed in tight spaces with nowhere to roam? i know the farm by my house lets the cows graze, but is that how most "dairy cows" are treated? i only wanted to know b/c if they are treated as poorly as the chickens, i think i may switch to soy milk....or possibly go vegan...idk...any answers are great! THANKS!!!!
