We bought the bottle for a friend who just got a fabulous job, and she intends to drink it all..... She's an experienced BEER drinker..... Any comments? A hangover is tolerable, problably deserved, but.... That's no more than an evening of heavy beer drinking, right?

Ok as a one off but I wouldn't make a habit of it although I quite regularly polish off 3-4 bottles at the weekend!

Just depends on the person. Cheap wines are more likely to cause that awful hangover than expensive wines. Has something to do with the nitrites and nitrates used as preservatives.

Be a real friend though. Don't let her drive afterwards.

I think it is a LOT more than an evening mof heavy beer drinking; seeing as how beer is only half to one third as strong as wine. If it's cheap red wine, it may also contain histamines that will give your friend one HELL of a hangover.

I've been know to tossed down a bottle like that in one night with no hangover in the morning. I see it as no different than the amount of champagne that is consumed at weddings. It's a special occasion, is it not? Let her celebrate.

way too much wine and beer are very different i also think that your friend has deeper issues if she feels the need to drink it all in one go why doesnt she share it with friends and make a nice nite out of it instead of drinking alone wallowing in her own self pity and ending up sick

she will be o k ..its the same as drinking beer ...but it does affect you a little different.wine is made frome grapes so you will probably have a bathroom issue...and a headace issue because wine takes away more minerals than beer when drank in highe amounts..feed her something while drinking mmmkay..

Yes that is way to much wine in one night an that's not good for their health and with all that alcohol in their body all at once could cause death.
