i have a bet on why whiskey is brown, i say it is from the fermentation of the fruits it uses, am i right or is it browny coloured because of others? because wine - white or red / graps, vodka - clear - potato.... and yea i just thought it followed a pattern.

Hello,

Concerning the soaking of legumes (lentils, in particular), can you soak them for extended periods of time, say over the period of 3 days? I've read on nutrition websites, such as Mercola.com and several others, that soaking of legumes like lentils can maximize the body's harnessing of certain nutrients.

Lastly, what effect, if any, would that have on the glycemic index and glycemic load of the legumes? Would there be a noticeable increase in both those measurements? We're talking days of soaking, not fermentation...

Thanks,

Av

hi, i am a vegetarian who plans on going vegan in the future. i would like to look at some sights so i somewhat know what i am doing when i get there. sens i am a little new to all this i thought i would ask some of the vegan experts about wich sights where good. i would really really apriciate it if the vegans out there would send me some good vegan sights!

also...
pleaz don't tell me about how being vegan is stupid and not healthy. i truly don't care. its my choice. your ramble about how its so retarted will really just waist my time.

My great grandfather was the first person ever to come up with the idea of putting little pieces of chopped up celery in his tuna. Needless to say, his idea caught on and is currently in use around the world. For those of you who don't know what I mean by, "tuna," I'm talking about tuna fish, the stuff you put on a tuna fish sandwich. This fish is now becoming endangered, although celery is still quite prevalent. Without the celery, the texture of the tuna fish just isn't the same. I'm sure you will agree with me on this point. Shouldn't my great-grandfather get some of the credit for this? Do you think he deserves some of the blame for the depletion of fish stocks in our world's oceans?

I know this question has been put out there. I have been feeling a little sluggish and unable to focus. Whenever I drink a sugarless redbull, I get crazy focussed and I can do 6 hours of work straight. I'm just wondering, I don't drink coffee, but I drink about one redbull a day, is that good? What other kind of vitamins could I get the same effect from? I eat really well, rice, veggies, chicken etc. And I try to exercise everyday.
