Yes... tea also has caffeine in it but in much less quantities than it's present in coffee.

It's true that it will harm you if you take it in excess. limit your intake of both tea as well as coffee.
The most common side effect of caffeine is that when it gives you a 'push' to help you do work fast and actively, then overtime your body becomes accustomed to getting stimulated by caffeine(where your source may be coffee or tea!)
Don't make it a habit to drink tea or coffee , like some people take it in the morning.. you can surely take it once in a while, and you'll do fine, it'll do you no harm...

take care...

no caffeine in tea is just as harmful as whats in coffee although i think it is a bit more concentrated in coffee, but have you also thought about the caffeine thats in coke?? i am caffeine intolerant and i cant drink coke, dr pepper and numerous other fizzy drinks as they all contain caffeine. so all caffeine is harmful. can cause heart attack like symptoms if you have too much

I'm very fond of coffee in the morning and tea (either green or black chai) throughout the day. I also like non caffeinated chai and cranberry tea for fluid retention. My go to medicinal soup (and do not judge folks) is Lipton's chicken noodle in a pouch. When I feel like crap this could be supped all day. I'd never heard of Bonox before tonight. We don't use Vegemite here in Canada either but you can buy Marmite if you search hard and long.

Coffee contains a lot more caffeine than tea. "Energy" drinks contain more than coffee.

Some people tolerate caffeine better than others. If you have problems relaxing, you're probably getting too much. If you have no problems and your blood pressure is normal, enjoy your tea and coffee (and Red Bull and Coke).

YES. Tea caffeine is harmful. caffeine is caffeine.

How harmful caffeine is and how much are we endangered by the harm of caffeine in our daily life?

Caffeine stimulates or excites our nerve center. If you take more than certain amount it will numb your nerve.
But have you ever felt numb drinking a mug of coffee? or cup of tea? I don't think so.
You can be a caffeine addict, but you cannot die simply from drinking too much coffee or too much tea (eventho it can be sub-factor for any kinda body disorder)

As they say, too much of a good thing.... Anyway, caffeine gives you cellulite and makes your bum fat, and also not good for your heart. If you want to drink coffee or tea, drink the decaffeinated coffees and teas. You don't have to stop drinking it. Also, all the sugar and milk that you put in your coffee and tea is nice and fatty, again, not good for your heart and circulatory system. I'm not a docter, promise. I just read alot. hehe!

They say to much with no proof, I was broght up on coffee when I was a child being Italian we would have a bowl of coffee with social tea cookies in it, As well as of today I drink anywhere from 4 to 5 cups a day. I love coffee, I have never been told by doctors to cut down because of any health problems. I am healthy and if you listen to everything they say today no one would ever eat or drink anything.Moderation is key word and enjoy,

Caffeine is caffeine, but you're behind the times. They are now saying coffee is *good* for you for several conditions. Tea has got a lot of good things in it, too. Catechins, for example.

Everything in moderation.

Here's a link to a BBC article touting the goodness of coffee:
