I am primarily looking for appetizer recipes that use exotic & wild game meats such as: Bison, Elk, Venison, Boar, Duck, Pheasant, Bear, etc. They should be fairly easy to prepare, as well as being very manly but still classy & elegant.

Even though I am mostly looking for appetizers if you have another favorite recipe that utilizes any of the above ingredients or any others that I haven’t listed, please feel free to share!

It is for a “possible” (still several months away) graduation party for my husband. Thanks!

Does anyone know a good way to make pure maple candy that tastes like something bought at a store. Most online recipes don't explain the process all too well.

I've made it before, but I forgot the porportions of ingredients. That was a long time ago. I have the powder, should I forget to make it into a paste with water? I tried it for the first time last night. However, after mixing all ingredients, I found it to be a bit bitter and less creamy/smooth and less thick.

I figured it might just needed to be cooled. After sitting in the fridge, I added to my salad. It didn't turn out to be bad. Although i might have to cut back a bit on wasabi! Hoo! It remained a bit thin. But I had to add more stuff to taste before cooling, excessively so. Beyound what the recipe called for.

Now, should I do what I did, whisk over a bowl of ice to keep it cool, or change the type of oil without having to add excessive amounts of ingredients(or additional ingredients) to cover up the bitterness? You think it's a question of technique? Thanks.

I don't even know if that's how you spell it, but it's how it sounds. It's this lovely bread/roll my grandmother makes. We always eat it with chocolate milk. It is not sweet but it is sort of a dessert roll. It is usually in a braid or coiled into a 'W' or 'S' shape. It has black seeds in it and is brushed with egg to make it shiny while baking. I want to say it's Arabic (we are Syrian) but I may have made that up.
