For starters, "Are 6 cans of beer..." is how this question should begin. Next let me ask a few questions; Are 2 Oreo cookies a day too many? Is a 16 oz. steak too much for dinner? Are 2 glasses of wine a day too many? Get off the guy's back. Is he smacking you around? Is he molesting kids? Is he molesting the neighbor's dog? A few beers a day is a heck of a lot better than what he could be doing.
Did you wake up today? Good. Leave people alone and let them live their lives in peace.

I don't think anyone should drink every night. I like to have a few on the weekends, but I have always had a rule "never on a school night"

If the question needs to be asked, then it probably is. He may not get drunk, but its still not good for your body. I don't see much good coming from that kind of beer consumption.

If he is drinking it over a period of 12 hours it's ok, otherwise YEP it's probably too much for one evening.
