Re-asking this question as I don't think I was clear before.
My wife and I are having a disagreement on whether re-boiling a kettle removes more oxygen from it.
Regardless of whether the water is used to make a hot drink or not,

will more oxygen be removed from the water if it is re-boiled?

Oh, and thank you irishgirl - my wife and I do have a fantastic marriage thanks :~) this is about all we argue about (if you can call it an argument)

While the analogues are not meat, they appear to be and taste like animals. A question for vegetarians (and other friendly omnivores): What's your opinion of eating fake flesh?

We're all familiar with the use of pig's lard, duck's fat and chicken, goose and other fowl. Have you had any experience with other rendered fats? If you or your family are/were from central Asia, you might have had sheep-lard.

I once met this wondeful lady, a Hungarian through my Dad, made me the most wonderful pancakes i've ever tasted. If i'm not mistaken, its called 'Palac Sinta' ? or i could be wrong. Its a Hungarian type of pancake. Thin crispy creepes, then rolled up with these luscious apricot jam filling. I asked for the recipe, but she couldnt speak fluent english, unfortunately, she only manage to show me a packet of flour. Does anyone know how to make these heavenly pancakes?

Having watched Oz and James big wine adventure, on the BBC. They visited a small Champagne house which was made in the back of a family ran garden. I am trying to find the name of the champagne house.
It was one of the last ones they visited on the programme and James bought a crate of the stuff. There was just one man and his brother in the garage when James bought the crates.Oz compaired it to KRUG. But the difference being it was only 10-15 Euros....Hence trying to find out. Please help ...???

I'd like to ask the impossible...

I'm going out for a curry with about 8-12 friends for my birthday and am looking for somewhere good, but not too pricey around the covent garden, leicester sq, soho area. I'm happy to book, but would NOT like to put down a deposit.

Any ideas?

Also, where could we go afterwards for drinks that would let in a group of this size but doesn't have massively loud music and maybe... maybe have somewhere to sit??? For at least a couple of us???

Any ideas?

Thanks

I have a disagreement with my wife that has been going on for a while.
When she makes a coffee, she boils the kettle and potters about (possibly making a snack or whatever) then pours out the coffee which is then cooler than i prefer.
I always reboil it to make it hotter.
She says that reboiling takes a little more oxygen out of the water and affects the taste of the coffee, I say it makes no difference except to the temperature.
Which of us is right?
