Lots of ?'s about old things hehe

A loooooooong time ago there were a bunch of individually wrapped colourful candies, with like a waxy texture, and they all had weird names I think the green one was called "Gang Green" or something like that? Can someone please tell me the names of the rest of the candys? or a link to a website or something? THANKS!!

Can anyone suggest some SIMPLE things to eat?

I live with my parents, and its hard to eat things without meat in them, while their cooking their food...I'm always eating noodles, and salad, and fruit, but its getting old, fast. I need something simple and quick, anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone have a recipe for French bread with a super chewy crust?

Many years ago, there was a little convenience store in Lafayette, LA that had a restaurant - if you could call it that - attached called the Stop & Shop B-B-Q. They had the most delicious po-boy sandwiches made with this French bread which had a very chewy and slightly sweet crust and a medium dense but fluffy inside. I have tried for years to reproduce this bread with no success - does anybody know how to replicate this wonderfully textured bread. Then I can start working on duplicating the sauce.

Has bread gotten worse?

It seems to me over the past two or three years bread and most baked products have changed in such a way they are gooey when I chew them. Is it just me or do others feel the same way? I suspect they are using a different type of wheat.

Why aren't the Indians all dying of B12 deficiencies?

I have been looking into vegetarianism. All I seem to find are horror stories of people dying for lack of B12. Is this a real issue? If so, how do the Indians stay alive considering many of them have had this diet for a few thousand years?
