I want to make sandwich like those found in hotels, how do make softy.

If you're baking your own bread, brush the crust with melted butter as soon as it comes out of the oven. That will make the bread softer.

If you're using store bought bread, place the slices in a plastic bag with a piece of apple. That will help soften the bread, but don't leave the apple in the bag for too long. You don't want the bread to pick up the apple flavor.

I reheat Mine in the microwave oven but the trick is to add a little water to the bread first and then to cover it with a damp paper towel (DAMP not wet!) A little practice and You will have it down pat. This is why people have children, so We can practice on Them.
