Olive oil will probably not be as affective as water. Drinking plenty of water will definitely help your skin. Definitely. Drink excess water. Also, a product that I find makes skin very soft and smooth is St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

If you want to take oil for your skin, then take fish oil caplets, usually found in the vitamin aisle. This is also good for the heart.
During the past 25 years, we have seen an epidemic of obesity in America. If you add just two tablespoons of olive oil (240 calories) daily on top of an already poor quality diet—without eliminating an equal amount of calories from other sources—you could gain as much as twenty four pounds in a single year! Clearly, this aspect of olive oil consumption is not a health benefit.
For real health benefits, skip the olive oil, take a walk, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

The lack of EFA - essential Fatty Acids may cause skin dryness, hair dandruff.
Flaxseed oil is a good source of EFA's and so is the Fish or Fish Oil.
Similarily Olive Oil also has the EFA though not as high as Flaxseed oil. Therefore it will have a beneficial effect on the skin. The raw uncooked oil is the best , have it on your salad as dressing or gulp a spoon every day.

Olive oil is good for you but you don't take it straight, put some in your salad, use it on bread instead of butter. Replace unhealthy fats like butter with health fats like olive oil an other oils that are liquid at room temperature.

Very good depending on how much fat you get in your diet. If you food is very low fat like mostly veg, fruit & egg whites; then 2 tbl spoons of olive & 2 of canola 12 hrs apart would be good, plus 4 caps of fish oil, w/ USP on the container like Rite Aid sells. Have your vit & mineral pill w/ when taking the oil to aid absorption.

What people don't realize is most soaps are not antibacterial like good old fashioned Dial. Buy the Gold Dial soap and wash your face twice a day. You will see results soon. Also change your pillow cases every two days b/c the bacteria stays on them and goes back onto your face.

1. No.
2. Actually, Olive Oil is listed as "one of the world's most healthiest food" on http://www.health.com/health/package/0,23653,1150042,00.html
Here's why:
- "Antioxidant-rich olive oil protects against heart disease by controlling LDL, or bad, cholesterol levels while raising HDL, or good, cholesterol."
- "olive oil may offer the same benefits as low doses of the drug (ibuprofen), including reduced risk of heart attack, stroke, some cancers, and even Alzheimer’s disease. It also may help fight breast and colon cancers."
If you're interested, the other healthiest foods from around the world are:
World's Healthiest Foods: Soy (Japan)
World's Healthiest Foods: Yogurt (Greece)
World's Healthiest Foods: Lentils (India)
World's Healthiest Foods: Kimchi (Korea)
There are more neat facts about food on that site. I highly recommend checking it out.
3. If you want to keep acne at bay, try making a paste out of baking soda and water. This acts as an astringent (dries out your skin) and suffocates the pimples, as they thrive in oily conditions. Rub it gently on your face with your fingers using circular motions. Wait a few minutes, then rinse it off. Doing this in the shower will help to get it all off. IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GREASY SKIN! It will irritate those who have dry and sensitive skin and may make it worse than it was to begin with. And remember to moisturize afterwards. Even greasy skin needs to be moisturized after this treatment.
Some other tips:
- Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins out of your system.
- Get plenty of beauty sleep.
- Eat fresh fruits and vege.
- Get plenty of fresh air often.
P.S I don't think it's a good idea to drink olive oil on it's own... you could substitute it for the normal oil you use in cooking. The website I listed just before suggests to "Dunk whole-grain bread in olive oil, or drizzle over grilled vegetables. Or try our Shrimp With Garlic in Olive Oil recipe." (Here: http://food.health.com/health/display/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=1168096)
Good luck! :)

EDIT:
Huzzah! I've found a tip on how to use olive oil to get rid of acne.
"Okay, the notion of applying oil to your face to treat acne does sound a bit wacky. Still, many folks swear this works: Make a paste by mixing 4 tablespoons salt with 3 tablespoons olive oil. Pour the mixture onto your hands and fingers and work it around your face. Leave it on for a minute or two, then rinse it off with warm, soapy water. Apply daily for one week, then cut back to two or three times weekly. You should see a noticeable improvement in your condition. (The principle is that the salt cleanses the pores by exfoliation, while the olive oil restores the skin's natural moisture.)"

What you have is a hormone problem of the young.
None of the solutions suggested will be of much help at all.
You simply have to outgrow it.
