Whiskey, red bull and cherry vanilla coke....call it the "ragged Bull" any other suggestions?

A friend made a simple pound cake according to directions on Swans Down Cake flour box. Per directions, she baked the cake for 60 minutes at 300 degrees, but it burned on on the bottom of pan. She used a heavy Bundt pan and used one of the combination oil/flour spray on the inside to grease and flour pan.

I have made this recipe many times with no problem. The only thing I could think of was the sprays didn't really coat the pan(I generally use butter to coat the pan and then flour it) or that her oven cooks really fast because 300 is really not that high for a cake and 60 minutes is the average time.

Any clues as to what may have happened?

Why does it always seem that you get drunk faster from tequila than other hard alcohols that are consumed in shots? And, does anybody know- what's with the salt and lemon/lime? Thanks!!

I am having a few friends in for supper after an afternoon of Christmas shopping. I will be serving a couple of choices of soup which I will have ready in crockpots and would like some ideas of different, tasty sandwiches to serve with the soup. I would prefer something that can be done mostly ahead of time and am considering open face, wraps, grilled, croissants, etc. I would appreciate ideas for something out of the ordinary. Thank you.

I am going to start this new diet. It says that you can loose 10-17 pounds in a week. Here is what it includes:

Soup (You make this soup yourself):
6 Large Green Onions
2 Green Peppers
One (1) 28oz Crushed Tomatoes
1 Bunch of Celery
1 Package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1-2 cubes of chicken bouillon
Head of Cabbage

Cereal:
Special K (Vanilla Almond) w/ skim milk

Drink:
Skim milk, Water, Cranberry Juice

Fruit:
Any fruit except bananas

NO!!!!:
Carbonated drinks, sugar, sweets, meat, and fried foods!

The soup you eat everyday. As much as you want..whenever you want..anytime of the day. They said the more soup you eat, the more you will loose.

So do you think I can loose weight by only eating these things in good portions + exercise? Thanks for you answers!

PS: The soup is kinda like that soup in the Cabbage Soup Diet people do and I know that works well

Some of that time was spent driving and with the heat in the car on, so it was fairly room temp to warm for some of the time. Should I put it on my pizza, or just toss it out?
