open with the cork in it, (or cap screwed on) indefinitely.
Wide open - maybe a few weeks before all the alcohol evaporates.

Until it's gone!

'Cork out', the alcohol will evaporate over a period of days, but the dust and dirt that drift in will do the worst damage.

'Cork in', but with some of the brandy consumed, I would hazard a guess in terms of 'years'.

Not sure how long you can keep the bottle open. Good news is though, that if you have to ask, you probably don't have an alcohol problem. :) I know that booze keeps forever though.

In my house...about 6 hours and then it's gone, we all enjoy brandy here.

Well, my Mother has it open for about an hour before it's gone, she hasn't complained about the time lapse.
