I used to eat these at school when I was young and they were so good. I don't know how to make them or even what the crust was made from. Was it bread? Was it pie dough? It was in between. So, is there anyone who can help?

my friend once made me this soupy type of meal that consisted of chunks of beef roast and pureed habaneros. I can't remember how she made it. I would just love that recipe or any version close to it. She was from Nigeria, so I'm wondering if it was a dish from her country. It was sssppppiiicccy but not short on flavor. Any help out there for recipes would be great!

Had a slice of the most amazing cheesecake in Germany a few weeks ago. It was much lighter than the North American version and has less crust. I'm pretty sure that they used ricotta instead of cream-cheese, is that how they get the light texture? Does anyone have a recipe for this type of cheesecake? Hoping to serve it during the holidays. Cheers!!

My friend and I visit this upscale diner couple times a month and they have the most delicous mints that they give you when you pay your check. Its a milky like mint that breaks down very quickly after being in your mouth for like 30 secs. Anybody know what kind of mint that is? and where I can get some.

Is there anyway to overcome a fear of eating meat? I don't eat meat, but not for the typical vegetarian reasons. I have nothing AGAINST eating meat at all, it's just that I get the heebie jeebies when I think about it. I'm always afraid of meat being spoiled (ie. maggots), undercooked, or things like that. Whenever I try to eat meat, if I bite into something like cartilage, I immediately want to puke. It kind of sucks, because I don't really want to spend the rest of my life eating soy and tofu. I like the *taste* of meat, I just can't get over my fear of it. Wtf?
