Obviously I will peel the hard outer skin of the cane. However, I do not want to boil the sugar cane after that. Can you suggest a way of extracting the juice only, at home (do not suggest an industrial process please!). Have you successfully used a reasonably priced contraption that I can buy. Alternatively can you recommend a contraption that I can assemble myself from general home 'bits and pieces' to extract the juice? (Please do not suggest a standard home juicing machine...as this would surely break trying to use it for a substance as hardy as peeled sugar cane). Thanks in advance for your responses !

Does anyone have or know where I can find the recipe for the bread pudding they serve at Old Country Buffet? It is REALLY good and I want to know what it is and I can not find it anywhere.
