Ive just bought a lifventure thermal mug, i've not used it yet but i was just wondering how long does it actually keep something hot for realistically?

a good hour and still drinkable after an hour and a half, without the oxidised scum on top too

I think that these thermal mugs keep things hot for about 5 - 6 hours which is very good.

I've got thermal mug that a friend brought me back from American and I use it at work it keeps things piping hot for up to an hour and hot - luke warm after 2 hours which is good.

Also my friend brought a thermos flask from Argos for about £14.99 and she took it camping and she said that it kept her tea pipping hot for well over 12 hours. I didn't believe her until I borrowed it and found that she was right I just didn't believe that after that period of time a drink would still be that hot

Be sure to heat up the inside of the thermos before putting hot liquid in. Pour boiling water in it and leave it for a few minutes to heat up the inner sleeve before putting your favourite drink in(tea for me!).
It'll keep for hours!

Assuming you preheat it with very hot or boiling water and don't wander around outside when it is 9º Fahrenheit out (temperature here)...it should last you a few hours!

It varies-anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on brand. I'm not familiar with lifeventure brand-but it should have some info with it.

there are variables in play here. What is the outside temp- for transportation? Where is it being stored? What was the temp of the product in the first place?
Given the following;
************************coffee, freshly made and hot
************************at the office, 72*
*********************** outside temp 50*
I would say about 4 hours.
