I would rather have no Coke than a flat fountain coke. I feel that the only good coke is an ultra fizzy coke and most places' fountain Cokes are just too flat.

Girl, you are talking to the right person. I am having a Coke right now and get pissed off when restaurants won't ask you if Pepsi is alright and just give it to you and think you won't notice? I can't mix anything with coke. That is why when I drink (crown royal is my fav.) I have to drink it and chase it with Coke. People wonder why and I just say that it ruins the taste of the Coke!!! I was bottle fed coke as an infant and I am 33 and drink at least 6 12 oz. a day at work and maybe 3 when I get home! I LOVE COCA-COLA!!!

Coke is pretty good but I'm more of a Pepsi fan. I'm addicted to Cherry Pepsi.lol. Yes..I as well have noticed about the fountain pops tasting flatter than bottled. Maybe its because the bottled has more of a vacuum seal, whereas fountain pop is in a box, hooked up to a co2 tank.

No, but here's a little story about fizzy coke.
There is this coke-drink call Thumps Up in India that's really fizzy, So fizzy that you get tears in your eyes the first time you drink it unaware. Unfortunately Coke bought over the company, it's still called Thumps Up but the fizz level has gone down and sugar level way up.

Preach it plain, sister, preach it plain! I hate flat fountain Cokes and would much rather drink water.
I'm also with the person who likes their soda very cold. Fizzy, icy cold Coke with a splash of cherry syrup -- now that's the ticket!

Yes I am, I will not drink Pepsi, only coke, and I prefer mine out of a fountain instead of a can or bottle.

Yes! I am VERY pickey about my Coca-Cola! I only like fountain Coke from restaraunts. If it's from a gas station, it's really flat. And I hate it from a can-it makes me nausious. But if I por it into a tall glass with ice, I'm good.

I like my Coke in bottles. I don't like the cans very much either. And I like it very cold. I agree that fountain Coca Cola is subpar and most fountain pop is just plain awful.

However, if you like Dr. Pepper then the fountain version is infinitely better than the bottled version making it the opposite of Coke.

I prefer fizzy cokes as well. I don't drink anything flat unless I either don't know it's flat or I am dying of thirst...
