Does anyone have any good dinner ideas. I want a change from pasta or pizza. I dont mind cooking it as long as its not too fiddly or doesnt take too long. Preferably not anything chicken based either as had chicken last night.

How about spicy Prawns - done in minutes. Get a big frying pan and fry up an onion - add some garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of ginger, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder. Mix all the spices in with the onion then add a tin of chopped tomato and a dash of sugar. Heat through and add a block of creamed coconut. leave to melt down and simmer for 5 mins - add prawns (fresh or frozen) and cook till heated through and serve on a bed of rice. Tastes really nice xxxx

Salmon steak would be good. Put it in some foil with a little olive oil and a knob of butter. Finely chop some flat leaf parsley and or some tarragon squeeze of lemon, garlic optional. Wrap in a parcel cook in oven for 20 minutes at 180deg. Serve with some green beans and new potatoes or rice. Enjoy.

I asked a very similar question here awhile back and I was reported for "personal communications". I appealed to Yahoo but they upheld the complaint.

Tacos are always fun to make. And salads are an option, all sorts of soups, fondue, etc. Go to www.epicurious.com and search their recipes.
