I am going to have a dinner party for my birthday, but the only thing is I do not want to pay for everyone. How do I put it nicely in my invitations that they pay for their own meal?

I'm thinking like 10-20 calories... something that really wouldn't add to the calorie total of a meal but could be used as a breading (with spices added of course) for chicken, fish, or potatoes... or in meatballs. Anyone have any suggestions?

This is a really weird question, but I am hoping someone will know the answer...

Every night, I have 3 Oreos and a glass of fat free milk, I dunk the first cookie and it gets soggy in, lets say, 15 seconds. Then I dunk the next one and it takes twice as long to get soggy. By the 3rd cookie, it can take as much at 4x the time to get soggy than the first cookie did.

My wife thinks I am insane (and I may be:) but has anyone else noticed this? And more importantly, can anyone explain why each cookie takes longer to get soggy??

Thanks!

I would like to mail my daughter some of her favorite brownies. She goes to college in Utah. What is the proper way to wrap them for freshness? Should I put them in a plastic container first, then wrap them? Any ideas would be helpful since I am on my 2nd batch of brownies now and I want to keep the first batch as fresh as possible.
Thanks for you advice.

everytime i look at a chicken i wonder what part of the body nuggets come from. the chicken breast can't be that big. maybe they send the whole the whole chicken through a mashing machine and then cut out nugget shapes

I also need some ideas for good beer for a guy's birthday present. I want to buy something atypical but that tastes good and that i would be able to find locally. Price is not an issue. Thanks for your suggestions

I would like to buy beer for a friend of mine, and was wondering how long it would stay "fresh" if i kept it in the fridge. I won't be able to give it to them for another 2 weeks. Thanks

Are silicon oven mitts better than the thick cloth ones at protecting you from heat but allowing you to safely (and comfortably) grip pan handles and handleless pots?
