I'm thinking like 10-20 calories... something that really wouldn't add to the calorie total of a meal but could be used as a breading (with spices added of course) for chicken, fish, or potatoes... or in meatballs. Anyone have any suggestions?

Parmesan Cheese? A little will go a long way as far as flavor goes. Or stretch bread crumbs w/ half parmesan.

you could use parmesan cheese-but if you want to coat the whole thing it would be more then 10-20 calories.I think you may be looking for the holy grail-I don't think there is such a thing as a breading that doesn't add significant calories.Everything diet-has no breading or its too fattening
