I have the oatmeal, but I threw the box out by mistake. The side panel has a chart that says how many cups of water and oatmeal to use (plus a dash of salt), but I'm dead without that chart.

How much water should I use with one, two, and three cups of oatmeal? (I know I boil it for five minutes or a little longer.)

How do dairy products derived from goats taste when compared to cow's milk? I don't think I've ever had goat milk or cheese.

My kids learned the poem "Alligator Pie" in school last week and someone told me they have heard of an actual pie w/ the same name.

My roommate and I will be hosting a little party soon, and we'd really like to have some fun, easy-to-make drinks. I LOVE Jello shots, and we'll probably make those, but my roommate can't stand Jello. Are there any other really fun drinks that we could make like that? I really want to include my roommate in all this stuff. Also, she loves tequila.

A few branches broke off my plant, full of not nearly ripe fruit...does anyone have a recipe for green tomato preserves, or a dish or anything I can do with these? I hate to throw them out, but there's no way they'll ripen on my windowsill.

I dry apples, pears, strawberries, kiwi, banannas, you name it in our Cabella food dryer. Up to now I have just sliced, soaked in citric acid (to prevent browning) and dried. It is good, but maybe a little sweeter would be better. Anyone out there dry fruit and soak or coat with something that will make the dried fruit taste sweeter? How should I do it?

I'm eating a packet of Jelly Tots right now and I'm taking out all the blackcurrant flavoured ones because they taste revolting.
Why can't sweet manufacturers just leave this flavour out?!

The theme is mushrooms.
It has over a pound of mushrooms(any kind), poultry, seafood & rice. I am making this recipe from my head and can't think of a good name. Remember it has lots of mushrooms & a sauce. It's not spicey or doesn't represent any region of the world. It's just an everday dish my family likes. A clever name might catch the Judges's attention. Give me all that pops into your head.
I will post the best idea & who gave it to me.

A former co-worker made swedish meatballs in a crock pot and added sour cream a big dollop of grape jelly as the secret ingredient.

I've looked all over the internet.... no luck. I am NOT looking for chili and jelly meatballs. I am NOT looking for swedish meatballs with white or light gravy.

I am looking for swedish meatballs in a brown gravy.

I hope you can help!!
