Distilled beverage
Spirits redirects here. For other uses of the word, see spirit (disambiguation).
The word spirits generally refers to distilled beverages low in sugars and containing at least 35% alcohol by volume. Gin, vodka, rum, whiskey, brandy, absinthe, and tequila are types of spirits. Beverages high in alcohol and with added flavorings such as Grand Marnier, Frangelico and schnapps are generally referred to as liqueurs. The term liquor may mean spirits; spirits and liqueurs; or all alcoholic beverages, including wine, saké, beer, and mead.

The spirits are the purest of alcohol. During the first processes of distiling they create tastlest spirits. These are then flavored through the processes in distilling whether they use wheat and barley to make beer or they use some form of corn to make whiskey or a version of wheat that is germinated first to make scotch. There is way more.

After a certain level of consumption, alcohol lowers the energetic field of your personality to where other spirits can enter your body. When people report being drunk or "blacking out" -- they don't remember because it was another spirit dancing naked on various tables.

"Spirits" is the British English way of saying "alcohol". The two words are more or less interchangeable.

Lots of different theories on this. My favourite one is that the alchemists who originally invented spirits (as opposed to mead or wine or beer) were looking for the secret of eternal youth, and that they thought they had the spirit of life infused in the drink.

It causes the demonic spirits to come out when you drink it. It is considered a spiritual drink perhaps. Jesus turned water into wine, which was his first miracle.
