Mcdonalds changed their frying oil many years ago from meat fat to vegetable oil. Thus compromising their flavor(think about this Mcd's has never ever told you that their food tastes good.. never, because they don't want the focus to be on flavor which would kill them and they are fully aware of this; instead they promote "you deserve a break today and "happy meals"). On the other hand Burger King has changed their lackluster ff's to a lightly seasoned and battered ff, which does taste better and costs them more to do it! It also stays hot longer e.g. no cold ff's when you get home. Burger King French fries were picked as best by the american public under a different label before they made the decision to switch to a higher quality, better tasting, longer lasting french fry which actually costs them more. REFRESHING isn't it?

Neither -- Wendy's has/had the best fries, at least when they're fresh, hot, and salted properly. I hope they reopen soon.

Around here, Burger King fries are little greasebombs and you can't taste McDonald's fries for all the salt they load them down with.
