my husband and i are are living tightly until payday tommoow. can anyone give me a recipie for chopped meat? somethng simple? I dont have any eggs, but i do have milk and lots of spices. i am clueless as to what to make. i hope someone can help me out! Thank You, Dawn

making steak w/o a grill?

I'm living on my own for the 1st time and have no idea how to make steak properly. I live on the 2nd floor so we can have grills on our balcony. I tried doing the broiler thing w/the steak (small sirloin), thawed for 20 min and it was pretty much charred black and the the other day I tried the same w/it frozen and it ended up bloody...HELP!

Any ideas for a Champagne vinagrette recipe?

I just had a great lobster salad on a bed of mixed greens at Capital Grille. The mixed greens were coated with a Champagne Vinagrette. The vinagrette was thick (like it may have had corn starch in it.) It also appeared that it may have had small bits of pineapple in it (perhaps to sweeten it.) Does anyone have a recipe that might fit hit the mark? Or a friend at Capital Grille? Thanks for the help!

dessert. Somthing that's easy to make but looks like I put a lot of time into it. My 4 month anv w/my boyfriend is on the 6th.
