Looking for a good bran muffin recipe with no cereal - just bran ?

I purchased some wonderful muffins. They are sooooo good but expensive.

They listed the following ingredients:
bran, water, white grape, whole wheat flour, apples, cranberries, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

NO EGGs, NO SUGARs and NO FATs (I do use sugar substitutes sometimes.)

I'm not sure the amounts of ingredients nor where I would get "white grape" to add to a recipe. Would you mash them? skin them?

I need some help here!!!

Does anyone know the original recipe with 9 liquors for a Long Island Ice Tea?

A basic recipe is one ounce gin, vodka, rum, tequila, triplesec, & bar mix, fill with coke until it's the color of iced tea. What are the other four clear liquors originally need.

What's a customary tip for a bartender serving drinks?

A buck or two per round? A few bucks if you're getting drinks for a party of 5 or more? Do you tip on round 2? And, assuming it's not a bikini-clad bartender that is selling sex more than beer, does it matter on what type of bar you're at?

He started complaining about their service. We've been going there for over 20 years. Well, while he was bitching about how sloppy the food looked, I noticed a hair on his toast. I didnt tell him. Overweight people and snack food commercials?

Why is it that you never see overweight people selling snack/ junk food in commercials? I’m thin and I don’t have a problem with a person being overweight and I don’t discriminate. I have heavy friends. Who’s more likely to buy a soda, candy bar, or a bag of chips at the store? I’m not saying thin people don’t eat these things but full figured folks eat them too, we just never see them in the advertisements. What prompted this question. Is that while I was in the grocery store toady, there was a man behind me in line who was obese. He had a Party Size bag of Lay’s potato chips and a 2 liter Pepsi, which next to him looked like a snack size bag of chips and a 16oz soda.

Can you help me to settle a bet on dumplings?

I know, sounds pretty goofy but here goes.

My wife grew up in a traditional southern baptist home, her grandmother and mother made chicken & dumplings quite a bit and from what she says, their "dumplings" were long (about 4"~6") and narrow (about 1"~2" wide).
Which I refer to as chicken & strips, which drives her mad......

I grew up in NY, didn't have chicken and dumplings that much but when I did, they were DUMPLINGS, small to medium sized chunks of the cooked dough.

She says that is not what dumplings are supposed to look like and I say she is wrong.
If I win I get to divorce her, if she wins I have to stay with her....

just kidding........

I realize that they can be enjoyed either way and that it is up to the person making them, yadda yadda yadda, I am just trying to get a consensus on the correct way they *should* be made, thanks for your time.
