The following recipe is supposed to be layered in a quart sealer and given as a gift. My class made these for a Mother's Day gift and everyone wanted the "rest" of the recipe stating that it was the best recipe they had ever tried. the kids decorated circles to put in the lid and tied a big red bow around the rim. They looked quite nice!

Layer the following in a jar:
1 and 1/2 c white sugar
3/4 c cocoa powder
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c chocolate chips
1/2 c chopped pecans (optional)

Double Fudge Brownies
1 jar Double Fudge brownie mix
3 eggs slightly beaten
3/4 c butter or margarine, softened.

Preheat the oven to 325. In a large bowl, cream the butter and eggs. Add the double fudge brownie mix and stir until the mixture is well blended. Spread batter into a lightly greased or sprayed 9x12 inch pan. Bake for 30 50 40 minutes. Cool in pan . cut into 2 inch squares.

Enjoy!
