Meat, especially white meat is very high protien, virtually no fat or carbs.

Beware, no carbs will seriously balls you up.

Lack of concentration.

No stamina.

The shakes.

If your slimming, have plenty of carbs in the morning, ( Shredded Wheat, Weetabix, toast, porridge ) then you're having your carbs, but have time to use them up in the day.

I would recomend asking your doctor for some guidelines, they can give you leaflets with all this info on, and can arrange meeting with a nutritionalist.

There's a good link below. The ideal diet has small portions of quality protein but carbs are essential for health and fitness, just make sure you have the unprocessed types: ie wholewheat bread instead of white. And LOTS and LOTS of fruit and veg.

Any meat is high-protein and low-carb. But in order to lose weight, it should be LEAN (low-fat).
