Why some people hide their feelings, even though they were hurt, they still act as if nothing had had happened? Or sometimes if they love somebody and get disappointed they smile as if nothing matters?

this guy and me used to talk. he was a huge flirt & a class clown but he flirted with every girl but me. I didn't catch on to that at the time. we got into a fight & he pushed me. I pushed him back & said "dont ever put your hands on me". we stopped talking. a couple of months later he asked me out. he explained he had liked me the whole time & he wanted to ask me out but was worried because of the fight. he asked me to go out with him. I said "I'm sorry but I can't go out with you, but we can still be friends". he looked really hurt, I didn't know what else to do so I just walked away. I didn't have any classes with him but I still wanted to be his friend because he's such a cool guy. I tried to keep a distance because I didn't know if he still liked me or had a girlfriend. our friends know each other pretty well
so one day we met at a party , smoked a bowl and then i left
then he i guess found my my space and said hey and gave me his number
ever since then he has been texting me to kick it with him but I always said no because i was busy
the truth is ; i dont think im really as pretty as he thinks, i was lookin pretty cute that day though . i just dont think he would be interested in me. im not ugly but im not flawless either like all the girls that try to get with him . should i just skip it cause im not comfortable or should i jsut go for it and hope for the best

Its been 6 months since we broke up and we started talking again for about a month. So I decided to ask her to get back with me. She sounded doubtful but she said ok...I assured her that I was gonna be a great boyfriend not to worry.. we talked on the phone she said she'll call me back that night but never did. I called her the next day and she didnt answer at first, so I decided to call her again later, then she answered and we talked, but she sounded all full of attitude, I asked if she was busy, she said no. Then after 3 minutes of good conversation she says lemme call you back. Then she never did! I asked her later if she even takes me serious, and she said yes, dont' worry I love you more than anything...But her actions don't show it! I love her so much, We were together for 3 years before the breakup..She said theres no other guy, and she even wants to marry me later in life! So why is she acting like this? We've only been together for 3 days, I want us to work, what should I do?

Would you get angry with him or would you prefer if he was honest and told you what he liked about her? This question also goes for when you are in the street with real girls. Do u think that there is a such thing as your soulmate? That 1 person who will complete u & make u completely happy? I have always had my "fairytale" dream. After my husband left me, all my dreams basically went down the drain. Now I don't know what I believe in anymore. Relationships to me r a waste of time...Marriage is not what it used to be. Everyones so quick to get divorced instead of working things out together...And soulmates...I dont know if they even exist. U think someone is "The One" for so long, only to end up heartbroken & bruised in the end. Now u r hurt for 2 reasons - 1 because the relationship ended & 2 because so did your dream of a soulmate. If soulmates exist then why do people concentrate on the material things - like the kind of car someone has, or how much money they have, the house they have. Shouldn't we be with someone because of their heart? I personally make pretty good money & live a decent lifestyle & I dont date someone for what they have or dont have.

Honestly, I'm sick of people now-a-days in a movie theater or restaurant who won't keep it down. I've asked my friends if I would get in trouble if I turned around and told the other party to, "Shut the f**k up!" Obviously, they said, yes, but I'm not worried about getting into a fight (cuz I am pretty big). I'm just concerned I would be arrested. ok this is just an itty bitty guess, but just give me youre guesses. this guy I always catch looking at me, and every now and then he'll tease me, but today it was weird, because we have bell choir and normally I try to stay away from him because he makes me nervous, but we have assigned spots, and this month I got assigned to stand next to him. ok so I go to my spot, and I have never seen him act like this before ever. but he just starts fidgeting constantly, and when she pauses for a second he'll go and sit down even though he has to get up again like ten seconds later. and normally when he messes up playing bells, he'll grin, or be like oops, but today he was beating himself up over it.he kept shaking his head, putting his head back, muttering to himself. and when bell choir was over there, he was practically out the door before she said we could leave. does this mean he hates me? or likes me? or what?

My flat mate has asked me to pick her up from our house and take her to a destination half an hour away and then i can drive home. This is fine, except... It is in peak hour traffic so the time will be over 3 hours, and I have been having the busiest day ever at work. Im knakered and grumpy. I do not want to put myself out especially as she only told me today and has somehow twisted this round to become my problem by saying if i bail then she can't get there and organised everything. I just started a new job. I am 29 years old and single. A girl I work with at the office is practically throwing herself at me and asking me to go out with her. I am not interested in her for numerous reasons. She is very chummy with a lot of the other women in the office. I am the new guy and just learning the ropes. ok well we are technically dating.. he works long long hours like 12-15 a day 5 days a week. and all weekend.. I knew this but I really still like him. We had a date for tonight and he calls me and tells me he got called into work and he is sorry..

My boyfriend broke up with me about a month ago (we went out for a year). At first he said we should just go on a break but now its more like a break up. He said he needed some space and he didnt want to have a girl friend right now. He also said that his feelings for me arnt as strong as they used to be. (this is because at the end of our relationship we fought a lot and disagreed about many situations) I still love him and i have this feeling that we will be back together in the future. We are still wicked close and talk on the phone once in a while and we always see eachother on the weekends. i was wearing my friends jacket today cuz i was freezing and he wasnt. it was his letter jacket so it HAD HIS LAST NAME on the back and it said "varsity track" on the sleeves. and this girl told me i was trying to make it look like i was on track so i should quit posing and stick to reality. i mean WTF????? it had his last name on it!!!!! and his first name too somehwere on the front. is this posing in ANY way??? i never even said it was mine!!!!!! and she told me i was trying to FORGE my class. it said "class of 2010" on it.
