this guy and me used to talk. he was a huge flirt & a class clown but he flirted with every girl but me. I didn't catch on to that at the time. we got into a fight & he pushed me. I pushed him back & said "dont ever put your hands on me". we stopped talking. a couple of months later he asked me out. he explained he had liked me the whole time & he wanted to ask me out but was worried because of the fight. he asked me to go out with him. I said "I'm sorry but I can't go out with you, but we can still be friends". he looked really hurt, I didn't know what else to do so I just walked away. I didn't have any classes with him but I still wanted to be his friend because he's such a cool guy. I tried to keep a distance because I didn't know if he still liked me or had a girlfriend. I would talk to him a little bit and he was nice. Later that year he became the track star of our school & broke records. I didn't want him to think that was the only reason I wanted to talk to him. he seems

I knew it would look like that. I always look at a situation from a point of view like someone is telling me the story and I have nothing to do with it. that's why I tried to keep a distance in the first place; because I knew it would seem that way to him and that's not who I am. I don't care about status. I didn't care before all of that happened. It's weird how no matter what it looks that way, like we just weren't meant to be in eachother's feature at all....in any kind of way.

I don't like him like that and it's not the end of the world if he doesn't want to be my friend. I just thought he was a cool guy, he always made me laugh and had my back...asked me what was wrong if I looked sad. he seems like a good friend. I don't want to go out with him and if I could go back to the day he asked me out, I would still say no.

Guys can't always take rejection. It sounds like he can get any girl he wants, but when he asked you and you turned him down, it hurted his ego. Let it go sounds like he isn't such a cool person if he can't accept friendship.

Take it easy. He is feeling a little rejected but he will get over it. If you give him a hint that you like him (either you want to go out with him or just be friends) and he will return the favor 10x over.

most guys cant handle rejection an hold against a person for a long while, he will come around if you just keep at him i mean casual talk with him if you can ,try to get in with his group of friends that might help but no promises

He must have really liked you and you shot him down... so I understand why hes like that because Id hate you if that happened to me. Forget that, I dont wanna be your friend because you dont like me that much.
