Singles & Dating - 1 September 2007

2 days ago I was with a friend at the pool and I think I stepped on a bee. All I know is that I felt lots of pain in my foot and when I lifted my foot up I saw a stinger stuck inside. I started screaming and crying. The life guard got the first aid and treated my sting and took it out. They said i should be good to go and able to walk but I couldn't without feeling lots of pain. So I called my mom to pick me up and take me up. Her and my friend had to help me into the car and when I got home my mom looked at it and said that there was still a stinger in there. She was able to get it out and about half of the pain went away. but then the spot I was stung (Under the pad of my foot) was pink and swollen my veins were bulging. Yesterday my foot was the same except it itched like crazy and if I scratched it it would feel sore and hurt.I had the hardest time getting to sleep tonight because of the itching and pain and today there is no change.I can't walk and I don't know if that is normal!

I'd searched on here, to see if somebody has posed a question of this nature. Seems to be none.

Okay this is a dilemma. I've dated and known a woman for 3 years. We were on/off for 3 years. Due to not telling me or showing how she is really feels about me. When we had split up, she dated somebody else ...now carrying his child. I had made it very clear to this person, for them not to contact me ever again. She makes assumptions that i never made myself clear, whereas i have done. She still calls me. I told her how i still have very strong feelings for her. I done everything for her, but she never did anything back in return. Is it wise to rekindle a relationship, although she is expecting her second child. Is she only contacting me for her needs or does this person started to now realise 'what she had, is now gone' and is trying to make amends. Does it make a person weak and losing their dignity for something that was once, but doesn't want to get hurt ever again by the very person.

I am soo fed up! I feel like every one in my life (except for my family) take advantage of my good nature, including my boyfriend.
I always try to treat people the way i would like to be treated myself, so i am considerate, helpful, kind, loyal, trustworthy etc..
BUT my so called friends seem to take advantage of this fact, like it makes me stupid because im a nice person.
I have freinds who only get in touch the week before they want a haircut, (just in case you were wondering I am a qualified hairdresser) friends who always ask me to watch their children, but rarely return the favour, friends who dump all their problems on me, but never want to listen to mine. Friends who borrow money off me, but again do not return the favour etc etc
I am a single mum with three children and would just love to meet some like minded people, who are not just out for themselves

I recently asked out a colleague who had been giving me all the signs of being interested in me and basically she made me feel like a complete idiot for even thinking of such a thing.Now I feel like I will never be able to tell the difference ever again and may pass up a genuine opportunity for a bit of joy in my life(which i am sorely lacking)I don't want to give up on having a relationship but i'm starting to think I will have to remain single just to avoid looking like a t**t

I am really popular at school and like this guy named Jake. He is 2 years older than me, and we are pretty good friends. I'd like to date, but If we break up, then we might not stay friends. I'm in the ninth grade and started school on Monday. In my third period algebra class is this boy named Damion (not his real name). He sits in front of me and he always turns around to look at me. Because the teacher never pays attention to us we always be play fighting. Everybody in da class think we like each other. I like him but Im not sure if he likes me. How do you deal with them? I mean being a relationship with a guy who can be very immature at times...esspassily when he's crowded with a bunch of people.

Take my boyfriend for instance, he's a really sweet,romantic,wanderful,carei... guy...but when he's with his football team. He does things i'm not usto like saying really nasty things, or pretending to hump the fense or something.

How do you deal with those situations or attitudes some guys might have?

I know someone only as a waitress and I don't think asking her out works as well at the workplace since she's sort of supposed to be friendly. However, the evidence that she likes me is mounting.

She seems happy to talk to me and once while she wasn't my server still made a point to come and speak to me. I thought maybe she was just being friendly to me because she sees I like her, so one day I didn't pay much attention to her, and sure enough, as I departed she spoke to me. I thought still maybe it was just how she was, but yesterday she asked my mom where I was and told my mom that I am sweet.

If you think I should ask her out, how should I do it without making her feel uncomfortable about declining if it turns out that she is uninterested? Remember, this would be at her workplace.

Also, I am wondering whether the people answering are before, in, or after high school. I am out of high school myself. Thanks :)

This waitress who I like asked my mom where I was yesterday (my mom was at the restaurant without me). The waitress told my mom that I was sweet. I asked my mom to describe the waitress and the decription matched the one who I like. Now I don't know what to do. It's hard to hit on someone whom I only know at her workplace.

Anyway, last time I saw her in the restaurant I sort of ignored her to find out if the reason she paid attention was because I paid attention to her. But that wasn't the case. She caught my attention and spoke to me first when she finally got the chance, 'cause I was leaving the restaurant, going past her.

I don't want to do nothing because she is in an even tougher bind since she's the employee. I would forfeit going to the restaurant in order to date her for sure. But I'm not sure she likes me. What should I do?

I am disabled and have not got many friends and I dont go out much as I cant go out unless my mum takes me. I feel as if I will never find anyone to love me as I am in a wheelchair and have a progressive brain disorder called leukodystrophy. I feel lonely all the time as nobody ever comes to see me or rings me up and I feel a little upset by the fact that no one must care about me in the smallest way. my boyfriend is acting different now that im pregnant, at first he was lovy dobby but now we hardly talk, communicate and we have arguments every other day, anything little he makes it big so he wont have to speak to me, im afraid he's cheating, today i heard his voicemail, and i know is bad snoping around, but i just had this feeling...well it was a girl, that called him, saying she was on her break and wanted to talk to him , and she even called him a little silly boy, but in a fliirtasious way, i dont want to assume nothing but im pregnant and i feel bad about myself, in this club website i seen the gallery picture page and there was him and a girl that was so called just a friend wrapping her hands around his waist from his back, when i comfronted him, he reversed everything on me, and didnt even talk to me for a day or two, i cant take this anymore i feel worthless, and im only 15 weeks pregnant, he lives with me, and i take him to work and back, i think he might be using me. help
