I fell in love with my husband over a period of months and I knew it was true love because for the first time in my life I saw the future with him and I couldn't forsee anyone else but him. We had a lot of crazy stuff to deal with in the beginning what with ex-girlfriends and what not, but it was never a question of 'is this relationship worth it?' after I met him, I had no other choice than to just be with him. Before we got together I started bumping into him EVERYWHERE, it was like there was no other option than to get to know each other better and then WHAMMO. It was love. Unlike a love I've ever experienced before. I felt like I'd met an equal, someone who challenges me creatively, intellectually and emotionally. I believe in true love now from this experience.

Love is when you know you feel something special for someone, you like the person (either as friend, family, or lover) and more important, you know that you will sacrifice anything for that person (including your life) and never ask anything in return.
“Love at first sight” isn’t real. That should be called “lust at first sight” in any case. Love must be grown. You can not love someone when you just meet him/her. You have get to know each other, share your life, and then you will know what real love is.
If you ask any old couple you might see walking and holding hands if they fell in love, they will answer you “we are still falling in love for each other”. That is the real answer for anybody in love. Love never stop growing until you die.
I know I am in love with my wife, and she is in love with me.
Are you in love?

the only thing I've felt remotely close to love is this. There are times when I'm looking at a girl and she stares at me back the same way. I don't mean to be cheesy, but you can honestly see a connection there and a mutual interest.

is when you drop tears while smiling... something like pealing an onion. in fact love is like an onion, it makes you drop tears while you're not crying and its smells really strong and the smell stays for long... also it has many leyers...the more you go deep the more tears you drop and the more smellier it gets. when you get to the very core of it, you realize you just wasted you time and sufferd.

Well I'm a christian and just how the bible describes love i would embrace it. Love is patient, kind, not jealous, not puffed up, it doesnt brag, it doesnt envy, it suffers long, it always forgives it supports, it never fails.

this sick feeling in the pit of your stomach and not being able to do anything but think about this other individual. if requited; almost unbearable happiness, if unrequited; almost unbearable sadness.
