I love my girlfriend and really want to be with her but she is making it really hard for me. She developed minor acne on her face about 4 months ago and she doesnt want to be seen by anybody including ME!! I do see her but just barely (once every two or three weeks). We talk everyday on the phone and I try to bring her up by complimenting her and saying nice things but she tells me to stop doing that. Also, she doesnt show me any affection at all -she says if she doesnt love herself she cant love anybody. This used to be a very great relationship until the acne and I dont care about the acne because I love her and I know she loves me too. Why cant she understand that?? Im really trying to make it work but shes making it really hard for me. I want it to work, what can I do??

I've met this guy we've spoken a couple of times but don't really know one another. I thought he was gorgeous immediatly but thought he wouldn't look at me twice. But he was flirting with me a little and i'm really quite shy about these things, but now we have this really intense connection. I think about him romantically practically all the time. I feel all warm inside and I know he thinks about me too. This has been going on for two months.

Has he fallen in love with me? Am I in love with him? Or is it just a need for sex?

My bestfriend Pete graduated in June and never had a grad party....turns out he was having one today....he never invited me!!! we were in a fight last month for about 3 weeks but we've been cool and talking for about 3 weeks...so i dont know why he wouldnt invite me...he has called me his "best friend" in the past...i had to learn about the party from his away message on AIM. Should I ask him about it or let it go?

The hole thug loving think is out of hand. Black girls(NOT ALL BLACK GIRLS FOR YOU PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SAY I DONT LOVE THUGS) but anyway to MANY black girls like thugs aka losers because it shows power but bad power but power none the less.We need positive black men in the medie that are not rappers or envolved in sports because young black men only want to became a athlete or a rappers NOT ALL. Ive been told im not black enough by black girls to become there boyfriend gasp big surprise! then people wonder why GOOD black men go to white women. So I say BET has to go it shows stereotypes of us that sadly i see alot out in public. Also stop trying to find scapegoats for our bad deeds! Yes othere races have bad deeds but im black so i dont care about what goes on in othere communities. SO how do we fix the bull???

my boyfriend is great, but every time we go somewhere out to eat (which is rare), even if it's applebee's, or let's say we go to kings island (even more rare), he b*tches the whole time "geez, this is expensive" .. he just bought an xbox 360 and a $600 projector.. yet he complains about money even if we go to somewhere nice to celebrate for his birthday and i pay. he looks at the menu and i could almost bet the people at the next table i'll hear "geez, this is expensive". he makes good money at his job and has quite a few thousand in the bank. why is he saying this?? it's insulting! i am easy to please and i don't ask him for materialistic sh*t. i don't mind simple stuff like watching a dvd at home or going to mcdonalds if we're out and we're hungry, but this is getting on my nerves. we're going to cedar point next month and i will GUARANTEE everyone that i will hear that the whole entire time we are there. what do i do without being mean.. i am losing my patience??!

My boyfriend does not want me talking to other guys even my friend's boyfriend or past school friends so I have to lie about who I'm talking to when I'm talking to any guys. I stopped talking to most of the guys, the only one I talk to is my best friends boyfriend and he and my best friend's boyfriend hate each other so I have to lie when I'm talking to him. I let him talk to anyone he wants so what is the problem? Why can't I talk to who I want? Is it that he doesn't trust me?

You see we started out wonderfully. We were perfect for each other. I'm 20 and she is 18. After a little less than a year I took her virginity. After the first year of our relationship things kind of started to get bumpy. We were in a long distance relationship for 6 months and I became very insecure and we'd constantly argue over the phone. After the 6 months I came back and things seemed to be coming together again. Since I've been back we have so many ups and downs. Arguements left and right. We drove each other further apart and decided to take a "break". I don't know if I mentioned it but we were in love and I still am. I'm not so sure about her. She just graduated high school and is going to college soon. Anyway 3 or 4 days after the break I asked her to come over so we could talk. She says she is confused and she might not even want a boyfriend anymore. There was something by the look on her face that something was wrong. Another guy kissed her and i guess she kissed him back.
