My bestfriend Pete graduated in June and never had a grad party....turns out he was having one today....he never invited me!!! we were in a fight last month for about 3 weeks but we've been cool and talking for about 3 weeks...so i dont know why he wouldnt invite me...he has called me his "best friend" in the past...i had to learn about the party from his away message on AIM. Should I ask him about it or let it go?

Sounds like he's still pissed at you from whatever your fight was about last month.

You should let it go.

Look I did the same thing like that guy did to you. A friend of mine started being a git to me then we sorted it before the week before my Birthday. I didn't invite him cause we had a fight. He got angry at me and so we didn't talk for 2 days I ignored him and he ended up saying sorry to me. Look after a fight you don't quickly become friends again I still don't like him and I'm pushing him away so I can get a better friend. Plus his the worst friend ever. Now look you have to have to give at least a few weeks for the wounds to heal. Leave it don't talk to him cause if you do it makes the problem even worse sorry to say this but if you started the fight then it's kinda your fault.

Ask him why he didn't invite you, but be nice and don't whine. Maybe he didn't send out invites and thought you knew about it. If you like the answer he gives you, keep being his friend. If it sounds like he is lying about it, drop him and move on, he wasn't really your friend to begin with.

I'd say let it go. Life is too short to hang on to animosities. It isn't the end of the world, and in the Grand Scheme of things, it's no big thing. Let it go, and continue to enjoy your friendship without hard feelings.

Just ask him. Maybe invitations went out when you weren't speaking. If he still doesn't want you to go, you should be able to tell by his response.

definitely ask about it!
or just say so how was your party?
you can say you were busy that day anyway if he tries to make up BS excuses to why you werent invited.

i would assume it was because of the fight. might be he is afraid of getting into a fight with you again.

no harm in asking him why you weren't invited.

I would definitely say something to him. And don't let him try to tell you that he told you about it. You don't need friends like that.
