I still havent had a DATE!!!AND IM 16!!?

Mayb its coz im in a boys school?? i come from australia and moved 2 ireland a while ago im a small bit chubby but i dont think im bad looking (mines the profile pic)http://www.flixster.com/user/AussieG
But i dont know any girls and the ones that hang out with the guys at school are all drunks!
My mate says its all bout confidence???(im not v.self confident) and im kinda quiet

uhmm... I would tell you to calm down. Its okay to not have a date when your 16, I never had a real date and I'm 18. Its a choice I made.

I don't think its really about the fact you go to all boys school or your appearance. In fact, I think you're better looking than most of the guys I've seen in my lifetime. That picture of you is very nice.

You know, I'd wait it out a bit. The girl of your dreams will come soon and well if you see someone you like to take out, just strike up a conversation and ask. Another thing you could do is set yourself with a blind date (even though, I don't like it personally), just ask one of your good friends to do it. Another thing you can do is join clubs, sports, or social parties with both sexes and find some one there first.

Your friend is quite correct about being confident. It does take alot of courage and confidence to start simply talking to a girl or ask her out on a date. I would say girls like men who have the confidence to approach them and talk to them like equals rather than men who are intimated by them. Its not really fun to talk to someone who is scared of making a mistake or yourself really. There are a couple things you can do with this to build your confidence. For example make friends with girls, and only be thier friend and many other things.

I think its okay to be quiet person. I'm somewhat of a quiet person as well. I tend to keep things to myself and I don't talk much depending on the situation. ^^ Anyways I hoped this helped you.

it is all about confidence pal, your friend is right. If you have the confidence it will take you very far. You said you are a bit chubby go to the gym and workout. Gyms are the greatest places to go to. You become better looking, you get a good body that girls will be attracted to, it will build confidence, and many girls go to the gym. Also your young bro, I never had a date till a few months ago and i just turned 16. Work on editing your image, adding confidence and you'll an increase in girls. Bro, I know how you feel. I'm always quite and my self-confidence isnt that great. But two days ago I saw a hot girl with one of the druggies from my school, so I grew some balls and went over to talk to her. And now we've been hanging out a lot. The point is that you just have to go to them. i know its hard because two days ago was the first time that I really tried talking to a hot girl, And I'm also 16. But it worked out for the best.

I'm not just saying this but you are really hansom. You are very attractive and I find it hard to believe that you have trouble meeting girls. Confidence is a huge part of it so you can try to make yourself have more confidence (fake it 'till you make it). Plus your only sixteen. If you were twenty six with this trouble then it would be a different story. Be patient and try to be confidence. Who knows? Mrs. Right might be right round the corner and good luck.

and don't worry I still haven't had a date and I'm 19. I've had boyfriends but never a date.
The last guy I had a major crush on wasn't very confident and shy and quiet and I fancied him even more because of it. All girls have different tastes. You will meet a girl who likes you for who you are. but I think you need to get some self-confidence. not for others but for yourself.

You are not bad looking. And confidence is useful! This is a tactic i use, pretend you are someone else. Someone that you admire, that has confidence! Then after a while you wont have to pretend.

Try extra-curricular activities...........acting, singing or the gym!

well i dont think its the looks part because you are actually good looking! Confidence is everything though, you know what they say you have to love yourself before anyone else can. Really, women like a man who is self-confident, not overly confident though, no ego maniacs please!
Just have a bit of belief in yourself and when the time comes you will find someone.

i had the same problem as i went to a all girls school from the age of 6 till 15 but dont worry bout it your good looking and not all girls want a guy to drink. i no this is bad advice but wait and you'll see x

It probably doesn't help, like you said, that you go to an all boys school. I'd suggest going someplace that suits your personality and try making friends there. My suggestion would be to not focus on looking for a girl, but just looking for people to be friends with. That way, you're making friends (friends who have friends, etc.) and if one of the girls becomes more than that then great. If not you still have friends. =)

You will get a date when the right girl comes around. Go to the library, or join a club to meet people. You may not meet a girl there, but you might meet someone's sister or friend later on!
