Singles & Dating - 19 April 2007

OK, so I am interested in this girl, and I am pretty sure she is interested in me, but I don't know if I would be willing to say we are at the same level...mainly because we don't know each other well enough. She is from another country, so I sent her a text yesterday while she was out of town for an athletic event, that I translated into her language for her. And no, I didn't just type it on the internet...it took some work.

We have actually stayed the night together once as well (no sex), but have not had the chance to actually hang out since about a week ago. We have talked and texted virtually every day, but I don't want to invade her space too much. Should I lay off for a day or two and not contact her, not even text? Just to give her the space? Or should I continue to, at the very least, send her nice little messages each and ever day?

I definitely want to avoid creeping her out, but I love to see how her day went...etc.

Please give me your opinions!!

o.k um i started going out with this girl but her best friend used to like me but i told her i didnt like her

I recently re-united with the best friend I've ever had. I dated him for about 4 months towards the end of 2005 and then we broke up and decided to be friends... I still had feelings for him but I had the hope that we would get back together. For the next year we were inseperable, we did everything together. I found it difficult to maintain the friendship because it hurt me to only be his friend, but I did. 7 months ago he decided to just walk away from our friendship without any explanation. I tried to find out from him what was going on but he refused to speak to me. Just a few days ago he got into contact with me and he told me that I was the best thing that happened to him and that his life wasn't the same without me and that he couldn't get me out of his head... I'm wondering what I should do? being his frined for a year... I would like some opinions on the situation... Thanks!

the question i asked yesterday i did something to ask her out byt writing a love poem for her . and after i gave it too her i didnt see her the rest of day. so i dont know what her reaction or awnser is to the poem so im sorta getting worried if will find out by tomorrow or next monday. or is it too soon for me to get an awnser from her ??

I talked to my bf last night, it was probably about 11:45 at night we had a long conversation but after we got off the phone he said I might come by there but I'm not making any promises. He's at my place 5 nights a week & even when he isn't he comes by every morning to shower because his water is off at his place. When he said this I assumed that he meant he might come by last night after he got done studied but he didn't know 4 sure if he would.

I woke up this morning & felt like maybe he meant he wasn't coming by this morning. I mean he comes by everyday to take a shower, maybe I'm feeling insecure & feel like he said he wasn't going to come by this morning because he may be spending the night some where else. Am I thinking 2 hard. I mean he has a key to my place & when he comes in the morning I've already left 4 work anyway so why would he feel the need 2 mention that he may not come if I wasn't going 2 be there anyway.

My friend and her boyfriend recently got into a fight. I asked her boyfriend what happened and he emailed me:
"We went to the bar, she argued with the doorman, he called her names, I didn't say anything to him, she nagged me about it, I yelled at her for nagging me, she broke up with me. That's the short version."
My friend says the note portrays her negatively. She says the tone is negative, she thinks it insinuates that she started the fight with the doorman, and it calls her a nag. Her boyfriend says he didn't mean any of it rudely, he was just trying to give a short version of the story, and that she should shut up.
So who is right and who is wrong? Is the letter portraying her maliciously or is it just explaining his side of the story? Please give me a vote here- I've listened to them argue about this long enough!
