I said "well if you're ever looking for anyone (wink!!) i'm available" and she said "we'll see"......

did i get on that or what??

Is "we'll see" a flirty term or a "get the hella away from me" type of thing.....i haven't asked a girl out in 4 years......so i'm rusty on the subject.

Question? Was it for a laugh or not?

We'll see is her way of putting you off. Right now she's probably thinking what in the hell is on your mind. Especially if you don't even take the time to really talk to her. She's not going to say one way or the other if she's going to go out with you or not. Once you ask her seriously she will let you know.

Now if you really want to go out with her you need to ask her in a more polite and serious way because right now she doesn't believe you're being serious.

It could be either. Let it alone for a couple days and then try again, if you are seriously interested. Sometimes people have to ask vague questions to see if someone is interested. You have now seen that she might be, but take it slow and see where it goes.

If it was me it would be used as a flirty term, but i'm very flirty so...It depends on her personality.

leaves the door open

deliberately

so wait and see

hm...depends,is she the sarcastic type? or the flirty type? do you like her? if so , ask her for real, don't worry if you get turned down, you'll get over her. I think she meant it as flirtnig, but it depends who she's like

if I wrote we'll see then I would be flirting back and trying to get him to chase me. Girls love to be chased!
