Because they think it is what you expect from them! Women were not put on this earth just to be your eye candy. Yeah some will say women choose to wear that stuff to because they want to look good. But honestly it takes a lot of effort to keep all that up. Do you really think so many would dress up if they really had a choice? I'm sure they would love to get away with doing less. And if you marry someone because of how they look and then they change after you marry, did it ever occur to you they were only trying to keep your from getting away? Stop being so damn superfacial. It's one thing to want to feel good about yourself, but its another to expect a person to be constantly pleasing you.

OK, full story, i was with my ex for over a year, i cheated on her early in the relationship, and i decided to end it when i was caught.

we have a son, who i do my best for, see him all the time, pay for every thing for him etc, who is 2 and half months old.

Just after he was born, she asked me if i wanted to get back with her, i was unsure so as not to get her hopes up said no.

A week later i proposed only to be told she needs to think about it, and a month and half later she rejected me.

My feelings for her have grown stronger and stronger over recent weeks and i am now finding it hard to sleep. I just want us to be a family. Any advice?

After working with a girl I'm attracted to for a number of months I've built up a good friendship within the workplace with her. She has a boyfriend but never mentions him, he was casually mentioned by someone else. She shows usual signs of attraction such as good eye contact, preening, teasing - i do this back, fidgets around me, particularly her legs and blushes frequently. I should mention that she is a lovely girl and is not outrageously flirting or leading me on. We usually go out for lunch as part of a group and she has mentioned to me about going out on an evening as a group.

I am leaving this job soon and wondered how I should leave it with her as it may be unlikely that I see her again. When I leave should I give her my number and let her know that I would like her to call me should her circumstances change in the future, or would she find it strange and see me as just a friend.

Im sooo in love with my close friend and he loves me but does not want a relationship at this time because of all the ceremonies he is going through with his spiritual religion. he will be doing this for one more year. i cannot no longer wait for him. my heart hurts to much. how do i move on. do i stop talking to him. or do i still keep him as a friend. please help. im not a teenager. i'm thirty and so is he...i never thought i would be going through this again at this age.

Its been a month that I have been feeling really sad and even though I have a lot of hope deep down inside I have lost it on the surface. I am acting like a drama queen to get attention from my boyfriend and by doing that I am making him fall out of love with me. i love spending time with him and his family and we have fun but sometimes I feel like I have lost my identity and I am his girlfriend not me, I feel like I am living in his world and I don’t have my own life. I met basically the man of my dreams.. so respectful, he tried to treat me like a queen. but i was so messed up from my past relationship i didn't feel like i deserved love. i did everything possible to push him away and when he dumped me, that's when all the sudden i wanted him... i went crazy with the texts messages, even reached out to his friends to help us get back together.. he has zero respect for me now. ... now that it's dawning on me what was wrong, i'd like to reach out to him, but i know he won't even take my calls... i know where he hangs out, should i try to "accidentally" show up so we can talk. i know he might reject me again but i want another chance or at least to make it right with him...

My boyfriend of 6 years lied about talking to a girl that is married. They have gone to lunch together, but never alone. He works with my mom and my sister. The only place he goes is to work and home. My mom tells me he is always with her at work, they don't have time to cheat at work, so obviously he's not cheating...right?? I got with him when I was 15 and we have 2 kids together.I really don't want to be cheated on. He tells me he loves me and only me, but he thinks we got together too young. He told me he was starting to like this girl, then he changed it to he was jealous of her and her husbands relationship. I don't know if this makes any sense, but do I just sound parinoid? I told him to stop talking to this girl to make me feel better and he has. So I'm very protective of myself and who I date. I guess for the last couple of days I've been asking my boyfriend questions that might of gave him the idea that I didn't want to be in a relationship with him. So yesterday I get a text from him saying that he thinks that I don't want to be in a relationship with him and I didn't have enough courage to tell him so we might as well break it off. So I call him up and explain that I did want to be in a relationship with him and I'm just protective. So I asked him if he wanted to break up and he said no very quickly. I guess I believe him. But he's been acting differently since this happend. I know he was sick yesterday and today...but I don't know what to do. I really like this guy. Any suggestions??

Could the point of recovery from a past hurt from a relationship be: yes you got burned, or maybe you swore it off because of career ambitions; or a combo of both. Could the point of return be: no matter how bad that was, it is far wrorse to stay single and lonely for the rest of my life. is that the point or relization to give in; to go back to having a woman in your life. i think its the breaking point that everyone meets after a long enough time from the burn.
